Fun times with food last night!
I picked up some pre-made pizza dough from my favorite grocery store (Fresh&Easy), as well as a pound of mozzarella on SALE for $2.50 (woot!). The rest of the ingredients I already had at home: green bell pepper, fresh garlic, onion, tomato, grilled chicken, and most importantly, BBQ sauce.
In very simple terms, here's what we did:
Preheat oven to 475 degrees
1. Cook the chicken.
2. Roll out the dough until it mostly resembles a circle.
3. Spread about 2 to 3 Tbs barbecue sauce on the dough.
4. Saute some chopped onion and the garlic in a little olive oil until they are soft.
5. Grate 1/2 pound mozzarella and spread it over the top of the sauce.
6. Chop up the chicken and cover it in that bbq sauce.
7. Pile on onions & garlic, sliced tomato, bell pepper and chicken to the top.
8. Slide it in the oven on a pizza pan for 15 minutes and waa-laa!! Goodness.
